Fifth International Precision Assembly Seminar, IPAS 2010
The Fifth International Precision Assembly Seminar was held in Chamonix, France from 14-17 February 2010.
The seminar provided an excellent forum for industrial and research organizations to debate the current challenges and developments in manufacturing across Europe and within the USA and Japan.

Technology on the road
The AMRC has won a grant from the Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council (EPSRC) to take advanced manufacturing techniques on the road.
MANTRA is a specially equipped HGV, fitted with the latest manufacturing equipment. It will introduce companies to the latest production engineering techniques, that have enabled partner companies to make significant improvements in productivity.
